Located on darling street, Darling Cafe is a warm and welcoming cafe with a great range of food. Walking in through the door you are welcomed in with the fruity smells of their cold brew coffee. As usual I chose their eggs Benedict and it had a very interesting flavour.
The hollandaise sauce was a bit too creamy and sweet but it did complement the whole dish... it was an interesting and unusual take on the classic eggs Benedict hollandaise sauce. Personally, I prefer my hollandaise to have a slight bitterness to it. It is very hard to find a good toast to go with eggs Benedict but at Darling cafe they have just missed it completely. The toast is way too hard to cut and the grainy bread just doesn't go with the dish. 6/10 Love Gigi

Located in the heart of Toorak village, Monkey Bean Café is the perfect place to pull up a chair and grab some delicious breakfast or lunch. But a warning held is that service busy or not is often slow, prepare to wait. The proud owner, Jedda Millington, grew up in Papua New Guinea so she knows the importance of having fresh and good quality food. There is a classic menu and Jedda adds a special twist on all of her dishes.
My favourite dish of all time is defiantly a good quality eggs benedict. I have found it hard lately to find a good, satisfying eggs benedict without it being, gluten free, egg free, paleo verified, nut free, and food free! I absolutely love the eggs beno at Monkey Bean. The satisfy yellow yolk (inside everyone of Jedda's fresh eggs) comes poring out as soon as you puncture the egg. The bacon it some of the best bacon i have ever had in my life. Hollandaise. One word, one-million, often disappointing, variations. I am a hollandaise expert. Where ever i go i always get the eggs benedict for the hollandaise sauce. I have had my fair share of disappointing and grotti hollandaise sauces but the sauce at monkey bean is fantastic. It has a certain degree of sourness and i absolutely love that! All of the fresh products that Jedda uses complement each other in the best ways possible. As well as a wide range of food, Monkey Bean also offers an extensive range of teas from T2 and coffees from allpress beans. My favourite coffee/hot chocolate is the Mochas. The baristas at monkey bean have create it beautifully every time! Did we mention free WiFi for the instagramers? 7/10 Love Gigi Located in the popular Dundas Place shopping strip, the Albert Park Deli has become an institution in the area, with regulars coming back day after day (or hour after hour in the case of the die hard fans!), for the consistently good coffee and friendly familiar faces. The Albert Park Deli has been family run for 41 years and counting, and has always used the popular Moccapan coffee roasters, specifically "Roast 54" blend. Using their Simonelli T3 machine for everything from your weak flat white to double espresso, there's no frills attached, just good old fashioned good coffee! The Deli part of the name comes from the fabulous proud display of house made pastas, pies, desserts and everything in between! All can be ordered to have sitting down at one of their comfy inside seats or beautiful outdoor area, or even packaged and taken home! I love their hedgehog so much that I ordered 50 slices of it and served it instead of cake at my 18th birthday party, which was a great idea because there was no silliness cutting up cake! Nearly the same size as the meals fridge is the cheese fridge, which will send any cheese lover into a frenzy. A beautiful array of Australian cheeses are waiting for you to take on your next picnic adventure. The double and triple cream bries from King Island are a favourite, but for the more adventurous there are also a few blue cheese options too! The interiors haven't been upgraded to join the instagram aesthetics-driven trend that we are seeing across all young cafes, but instead let's the huge family portrait out the back and subtle Greek icons give a nod of acknowledgement to the family's heritage. However, the outdoor area has been given a recent facelift. The new blonde timber bench tables go perfectly with the red Tolix stools. For those who can't sit comfortably without a back rest, there are still outdoor tables with the classic silver metal chair. Pretty little flower accents laid out individually for each table brighten up the space, go nicely with the red accents of the cafe and give a nice reference to the larger flower wall marking their boundary. The staff are super friendly, you'll always see a familiar face working when you walk through the door! If you're lucky enough to have Billy working, ask him for a chocolate milkshake with extra chocolate - so good you won't even feel guilty for the indulgence. A Number 1 tram stop is located right outside the Albert Park Deli, so there's no excuse not to get down and try it out! Perfect to pop into on your way to/from the beach. 11/10 Whats your favourite local cafe? Xoxo E Aptly named after the street it's on, Darling Cafe (Number 2 Darling Street South Yarra), is exactly that - it' really is a darling that is bound to win hearts. Just around the corner from South Yarra Train Station, it is bound to be a hot spot for coffee connoisseurs, bloggers and locals alike. What used to be Coffee Darling has been renamed, refreshed, restyled; bringing it into the age of aesthetics-driven, instagramable cafe interiors. We are sure it won't take long before this is the place that everyone is talking about- all for good reason too! Marble bench tops and gold accents give a luxurious and expensive feel, yet the menu is surprisingly reasonably priced. Only $15 for Eggs Benedict is a great price for something that cafe's exploit nowadays (eg. $21.50 at Mammoth Cafe : http://twocogsinawheel.weebly.com/food/mammoth ) Featuring coffee from 5 Senses, a range of filter and other specialty coffee, and an elegant Synesso machine the entire ambiance of the cafe does feel very upmarket. The staff are friendly and approachable, happy to chat while you relax, or set you up with something to-go, this place seems to fit the requirements to set it on the path to great success. Definitely one to try before it gets too busy; Let us know what you think! Xoxo Eliza As the name suggests, At The Heads is located overlooking the river of Barwon Heads.
A couple of minutes walk around the corner from the main street will take you to this more upmarket and pricey restaurant. But it's worth it because the service is fast and the view is insta worthy. The waiters themselves aren't entirety friendly, but they're they're go get the job done. The menu is double the price of other restaurants in the area such as "Beach house", with mains upwards of $30,but it's worth it because it's locally sourced, good quality goodness. We shared the big seafood platter and were both very satisfied after. The oysters were deliciously salty (just the way I like them) and the small portion of pesto went surprisingly well with the big prawns. The demographic of the area is mostly retirees, so it's hard to find a "cool" cafe marketed for young people. Although they do serve lots of things on wooden platters- that's cool, right? 8/10 Do you have a favourite small beach town cafe? Let us know in the comments! Xoxo E Only a short walk from the Florida Gardens tram stop, Elk food and coffee is worth going the distance for.
If you're lucky enough to get an outdoor table then you'll almost be able to see the ocean front but you'll definitely have fun views of the community soccer pitch. Service is a bit inconsistent, which you expect from looking at the very young waitresses. Some tables, like mine, get served very quickly and nicely whereas others get forgotten about and have to ask to order or remind someone that they are waiting on food! The menu is very extravagant covering all bases with a range of healthy and indulgent options. However for the small portions you get, the meals are a bit overpriced. They have a standard la Mazzacco coffee machine which produces standard and reasonable coffee. The speciality filter coffee is available too, and is served in a funky decanter that you pour into your cup yourself! Super instagram worthy! Similarly, the milkshakes are served in mason jars with easy to drink from thick plastic straws, but are very generous with ice-cream making them a bit nauseating. Basically, it's a wannabe Melbourne cafe, and if they did up the interiors to make it a bit more exciting than a plain black wall then it would almost be there. Shout out to the LED fake eddison lightbulbs! 7/10 Xoxo E Located in Nobby Beach (not Mermaid Beach as advertised via their instagram), BSKT is a haven for clean eating lifestyle junkies and aspiring yogis.
Even with all the hype I had heard around the place, I was instantly let down by their no name coffee machine and lack of any proud display showing off a roastery. For any coffee wise Melbournian (aka all of us), this is alarm bells!!! Eggs Benedict is my go to item to judge a cafe on, yet with 'kalenaise' instead of hollandaise I wouldn't touch that with a stick! So instead I had the simple salmon and rice, can't go wrong with that. For $15 it was filling... But bland :( The Cypriot sandwich on the other hand was surprisingly flavoursome! Yet out friends in Cyprus would be disappointed by the lack of meat! The kale based pesto was good, but if you think of the oil base of pesto it leads you to question how healthy it really is. And that fried halloumi, capsicum and eggplant doused with oil added an interesting component to the gluten free bread. I don't think anything could disguise halloumi, or the rest of it, as healthy! The smoothie list included mixes called "bounty" and "mirranda kerr" were expectedly healthy yet surprisingly yummy! I had the bounty and it was super yummy, you couldn't even tell that it was trying to be healthy! Has anyone realised that coconut based stuff aren't that healthy but instead full of natural fats? Now to the coffee. A standard long black was abosultely butchered. The instagramable dark timber and imitation Tolix stools couldn't cover up the bitterness of it. After sending it back twice, they wiped the coffee from the bill because it was obviously never going to meet our Melbourne standards! Have you had a better experience? Let me know because I'd love to hear! Xoxo E On the main shopping strip, right near the beach, Donut Boyz are a good bunch.
With only a limited range of 6 donuts, you're not as spoilt for choice as you are at Dicks Donuts. Nevertheless, they do it well. Juicy, generous fillings in the filled donuts you won't be left wanting more! Let me know what you think On the infamous nightclub strip, proudly next to the 7D cinema is Dick's Donuts. Obnoxiously sexual, the huge purple signs screaming "Dick's donuts" are surprisingly accepted by the family atmosphere the area has during the day.
With a huge variety of flavours with a huge variety of sexualised names, there's something for everyone. Love Oreos? Have an oreogasm. Love peanuts? Try the big nuts. Reasonably priced at around $5 per donut, you won't be left unsatisfied. Definitely worth a try! They're so good they made a fussy Melbourne gal happy! What flavour do you want to try? Xoxo E We found a Melbourne cafe on surfer's paradise! Right on the beach on "Soul Boardwalk", ESPL Brewers is a classic. They have blonde AND brown timber stools and trims with white tiled benches and walls. Their menu is simple, coffee and croissants, easily viewable on the wall. With coffee roasted by Blackboards, you can be assured that you are supporting the local industry. The La Maazocco Linea machine is reliable and common in Melbourne, so you know you'll get better coffee than the coffee club or Gloria geans ect ect... 10/10 Our Melbourne sophisticated finely tuned coffee taste buds were happy :) Xoxo E On Chapel Street, directly across the road from Topshop sits Lucky Penny. And it truly is a gem compared to all the other run of the mill tacky cafes in the area.
Yes it does have the typical blonde timber and Edison light bulbs, but they had that since they opened a few years ago. The staff are all friendly and willing to have a chat. But most importantly they know their produce, they know the flavour notes in their coffees and they know why certain things are good for you (or not)! Although they're not a specifically health food store, they do have an array of delicious salads featuring quinoa and kale ect.. But they also make perfectly chocolatey iced chocolates and have the best home made jams. There is something for everyone here, and it looks great on insta too! But for me I will always have their smashed avocado (the best in the whole of Melbourne!) or eggs Benedict with either an iced chocolate or a long black on ice. No matter what you try here, you're bound to get lucky ;) 8/10 Definitely stop by for a coffee break after a day of shopping, or fun weekend brunches with the ladies (or gents!). It's a crowd pleaser. Xoxo E White lino floors, blonde timber chairs and tables, white painted brick walls, protein balls, raw desserts, cold brew, filter coffees, 5 senses beans, chai man chai... Another typical place. Sigh.
Mammoth coffee and food is located on the corner of Beatty Avenue and Malvern Rd and it's is the sixth coffee shop to open on the illustrious block. This place is only mammoth by name. There are only 3 tiny outdoor chairs that don't get any afternoon sun (mammoth of a disappointment), the inside section is poorly designed with waiters and customers crashing into each other trying to navigate the small space . If a mammoth walked through the room, everything would be squished and the mammoth would be sad because there is no logo of a mammoth nor are there any cool paintings of mammoths. Seriously, they need to invest in a boobalicious Bromley or another avante garde artwork to give more personality to the space. There are small Sonos speakers in the corners of the room, but due to the lack of noise management you can't hear any tunes. Therefore, the place lacks any cool vibes as you have to yell over each other to have a conversation. If an actual mammoth roared you wouldn't even hear it. The menu has 20 different options, with most of them being gluten free or vegan, if not both! The all day style dining is full of interesting takes on traditional items. The eggs Benedict is served with maple syrup hollandaise which compliments the fluffy blini perfectly whilst providing an interesting flavour with the yummy duck sausage. They do Avocado toast very specially here, served with about 7 avocados on yummy brown bread. Served with slow poached eggs, aka coddled eggs, it's a different take on the standard avocado on toast. Of course they have a range of raw desserts that are gluten free and vegan! We tasted the raspberry slice which had a very nice texture but lacked any read strong flavour. The 5senses beans in the synesso machine make a nice smooth coffee. But they also have a range of filter and cold brew styles available that I will be going back to try! Definitely a must try if you're in the area, but there isn't anything special on offer that you should go out of your way for. The competition that is happening on this block is astounding, and we can't wait to see how it develops. 7/10 Will you give this place a try? Xoxo E Located around the corner from the popular Dendy Street Brighton shopping strip sits Royale Brothers. Recently named in the top 100 burgers of Melbourne and owned by the same group as it's neighbour "The Pantry", it is equally as popular. But does it earn this popularity? Not in my opinion! The many many times I have visited the esteemed burger joint I've had the worst service ever! The girls taking your order are too busy flirting with the boys in the back to actually listen to you properly! Not only is the service slow and sloppy, but the burgers are also super sloppy!! They overdo the mayonnaise and their "royale" sauce, so much so that you don't taste their yummy patties. The fish burger is my burger of choice and they do it quite well, just ask for a bit less Mayo in the coleslaw and you'll enjoy it. After an hours starving wait anything tastes amazing, so perhaps they make you wait for their overpriced burgers ($13 for the basic royale with cheese) so that you think it's good! Once I went there and just wanted two takeaway milkshakes, and here they have a futuristic milkshake machine. But it still took them 20 minutes to press the button! Take your chances if you think it's worth it or not. And let me know how you go! Would you rate it the high profile of the best burgers in Melbourne? Xoxo E Located a hop skip and a jump away from South Yarra train Station on Toorak Road, Lux Bite is perfect for late afternoon coffee catch ups as it is one of the only places in the area open past 4 pm that serve coffee! The black and marble interior theme is a refreshing change from the typical blonde wood and white walls that every other cafe has these days! The huge marble communal table made a perfect background for us avid instagrammers! Their delicate macaroons were quite delicious, and melted in your mouth. The coffee was average, which was to be expected from their non branded two group head coffee machine. Good spot to check out if you want to find an open late place, but don't go out of your way to check it out. Xoxo E Huxtaburger With four stores across Melbourne, our local one being on high street, there is no reason not to go! The last two years I have spent my birthday dinner at the best burger place out there... Huxtaburger. I can't really put my finger on what makes it so good but I can only assume with its brioche buns and meat absolutely cooked to perfection. No one really likes to talk about this food of the gods but if I do bring it up in a conversation with my friends (I will admit that I always talk about food) they will speak about it just as passionately as me. Once you start talking you can't stop. My favourite burger is Denise. I love spicy food so much, so this burger with jalapeños and spicy sauce is like perfection. I rate Huxtaburger a stunning 12/10... The milkshakes are also on fleek. The flavours come in a wide range and you can indulge in these massive shakes for yourself or easily share it with friends. My favourite flavour is the salted caramel, actually the chocolate is... Ugh I can't decide!! There is a shake for every time time of day and every type of shake for everyone!! I still pronounce huxtaburger with a whopping 12/10 Xoxo- G Located on High Street, Malvern, 8 Days cafe is a great place to relax. It is aptly named (unlike Mammoth, see review below), because this is a place that you just keep coming back to time and time again. Or day after day after day x 8... Old classic dark wooden chairs, small square tables with a few longer share benches clearly demonstrates that this is a good old fashioned coffee shop. Nothing to special about it, their menu boasts classics such as eggs Benedict (with perfect hollandaise that is nice and creamy), and an array of salads and muffins you can take away or enjoy in store. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and are well equipped with knowledge of the menu, but don't try and have a chat with them because it is quite a big cafe and they've got their job to do! Just because they don't roast their own beans in house, doesn't mean they aren't keeping up with the "cool cafes" popping up all over the suburbs. Eager to please us instagram adicts, their giant pastel mural on the exterior wall is a great addition to any grid. If you're in the area wondering where to go, definitely check this local place out. But don't trek across the country to visit as there's nothing that exciting. 7/10 Xoxo E Featured in the picture is our good friend Eric. Well known for his love of modelling and playing the saxophone (not at the same time, yet) he has also been a long term and proud team member of Chicken Central.
Located on the corner of Riversdale Road and Glenferrie Road, it really is central to everyone. Driving home from an extra cheerleading training session, there was a rare car park right out the front! Obviously I took it as a sign and went in. To my surprise, my good friend Eric was there! He showed me their variety of fresh and yummy salads that offset the delicious indulgence of their ahmazing chicken burgers. But nothing beats their chips. I bought a jumbo pack of chips for $9 and I was not disappointed. Expertly chicken salted to perfection and crunchy without being too much so, they are the perfect salty snack when you just need something to hit the spot! The burgers speak for themselves, people come from far and wide to experience the magic! The white was timber and Edison light bulbs are surprisingly modern for this chicken shop. But it's so much more than that! It is groovy burger joint, family fun outing, instagram worthy, date friendly... You name it! 8/10 Xoxo E Located on Dendy Street in Brighton, the Brighton Schoolhouse is comparatively new to the other established eateries such as The Pantry and Dendy Deli.
What gives the Brighton Schoolhouse a leg up is its huge out door area and playground for the kids. Today I only tried a coffee. My long black was served quite hot, but once it cooled down it developed into a smooth and quite sweet yet one dimensional coffee. If you're in the area, give it a try. Admire their fun dinosaur statutes and great wooden themed interiors. When I go back I'll let you know! Have you been, what do you think? Xoxo E Im so sick of places that dress chocolate down to be something healthy, something acceptable, something... Not indulgent. But why would I eat chocolate if it's not indulgent? Sure, I agree that two squares of proper 80% plus dark chocolate may be good for you, but who in their right mind is actually able to stop themselves from eating anything less than two blocks of dark chocolate!
The recently opened "Green Cup" proudly located right next to Country Road is a culprit of the above. And they have shocking service. The enticing white washed timber, top 20s tunes and prerequisite Edison lightbulbs of every wanna be cool cafe in Melbourne was totally let down by the caked face, short short wearing waitresses. These waitresses gave me the eyes that say please don't ask me any questions I'm nervous enough as it is eyes, so I couldn't question the flavoursome nature of the avocado containing drinks, and nor could I question the healthiness of the chocolate option. When confronted with their offerings of concoctions that have various forms of avocado and kale in them, I obviously lent towards the chocolate peanut butter option, because you can't go wrong with chocolate, and maybe it was a good choice for a sweet tooth trying to be healthy... Yet for $9 I got a totally underwhelming water based chocolate drink, not a thick peanut buttery with a hint of chocolate drink like I was expecting. I guess all that protein powder and whatever other rubbish the girls wouldn't explain to me is what bumped up the price, and the waiting time? The one thing I did enjoy was the yummy coconut chip samples I munched on whilst waiting for a server to get off her phone and pay attention to me, and not be nervous to ask whether or not pay pass is okay to use with my card. If someone doesn't want to use paypass, they'll let you know as they give you their card. Next time I want to pretend to be healthy, I'll just go to Boost Juice. There's a reason why they're so successful, and I think it's because they don't pretend to be anything they're not. 3/10... Only because I feel mean giving a 0... Have you had a better experience than I? Or are you a total health nut who can explain to me why chocolate was healthy in this instance? I'd love to know! Xoxo E Just another announcement that you have to put St Edmonds on your go to list! Located on St Edmonds lane, South Yarra, just behind Chapel Street near Greville Street, there's no excuses for being in the area without popping in to see what I mean about how great it is!!
Trust me when I say they have the best French toast in Melbourne. Having a slayer coffee machine means you are guaranteed to get good coffee!! And their graffiti makes for good instagram posts too. Make it your goal to get there this week! Xoxo E Ps. The pictured sunglasses are from Gentle Monster. Situated on Little Bourke Street, just around the corner from Melbourne Central is a hidden and surprising restaurant Tippo 00. Elegant without being over the top, everything from the interiors to the menu has been well thought out, without it looking so, making Italian food interesting and modern again.
Tippo 00 was named one of the 50 best new restaurants in Australia of 2015 and it's not hard to see why. If you're a cheese person, you must try the Burrata for entre! It's so creamy and delicious and super satisfying. The tomato topping it comes with really compliments the flavours of the cheese and the home made bread beautifully. Every single pasta on the menu is divine, trust me because I've tried them all! My favourite is the tagiolini de Nero, aka the squid ink pasta. At a price point, 20-$27 for a big bowl of fancy home made pasta is not bad at all, in fact it's probably the best meal you'll have at such a reasonable price in a long time! The gnocchi is my second favourite! For desert, since I'm a self confessed chocoholic I can never get past the incredible "tippomisu", which is, you guessed it, their version of the classic tiramisu. I'm not usually a big fan of coffee flavours in things that aren't my coffee, which is what makes this dessert so me! When the waiter delivers your perfectly presented plate, with little dots of cream, he pours even more chocolate on by pouring a thin and runny warm chocolate sauce! The chocolate smells soo good and you want to get straight into it! When you put your spoon into the cake shaped delight, the satisfying crunch sound of the chocolate shell contradicts the smooth feeling of the spoon gliding into it. This is the perfect dessert for any sweet tooth! With undertones of caramel, vanilla and chocolate, this is the perfect thing to share, or you can indulge and eat it all by yourself!! It's light but perfectly satisfies your sweet cravings! It's a Great upmarket place without being upmarket place for dinner dates, lunch catch ups with friends or drinks and a snack. They often mix up their menu for special occasions such as Valentine's Day, or going for the chefs selection means that you will get to try a different take of all their incredible choices! Only downside is that if you're a walk in table and they tell you that you have to be out by 6, they really mean it! You'll get the message loud and clear by them not filling up your water and reluctantly taking your dessert orders! Best be prepared and ring a week or so in advance for rush hour times. Do definitely check it out next time you're in the city, or if you're looking for a place to go for your next dinner you'd be crazy not to try here! 9/10! Have you been here, or are you planning to go? Let me know in the comments! Xx E I discovered St Edmonds only a few months ago, and it has taken me until now to realise why it is called that! This groovy hangout is situated on St Edmonds lane, hence the name, and is only a block behind Chapel Street. The interesting graffiti mural on the side of the building means that on the busy days you can spend your time waiting by posing in front of it and making your Instagram followers jealous!! If you think you're a coffee connoisseur then you're bound to be impressed by the machine they have. Slayer. When I asked one of the top bun wearing waiter what sort of machine they had, he looked over lovingly at it and said "it's a slayer. Kind of like the Rolls Royce of coffee machines". Since I don't know coffee, I excitedly texted my coffee snob friend saying "omg my favourite place has a slayer, now I know they're actually good!" to which he replied "slayers are the Rolls Royce of coffee machines". So basically, if you want your coffee to hashtag slay, it's probably best that you hunt down one of the 3 places in Melbourne that have a Slayer machine. Have you heard that it's basically the Rolls Royce of coffee machines? :P Besides having great coffee, they also have my favourite menu ever. It's not one of my favourites, it's my number 1 favourite that will never fail me. Open every day of the week from early, they will be able to satisfy all your cravings. For breakfast I'll always always have their French toast, if you're a sweet tooth it will be literally the best thing you ever put in your mouth. No joke. I'm not much of a lunch fan, but they've got soups and pulled pork and club sandwiches, and there will be something to tickle everyone's fancy. I can't talk highly enough of this place, if you live in the area you should definitely make it your new regular place. If not, it's definitely worth travelling cross country to visit this place. Plus, who doesn't love a stroll up and down all the groovy Greville Street shops! This place gets 10/10 and is the benchmark for every other place I compare. Xoxo E Located in the Camberwell "well" shopping strip, the cafe My Other Brother easily distinguishes itself from the run of the mill tired looking cafes that have populated the strip for so long.
The cool outdoor setting with black picket fence and pot plants clearly proves that it's a cool place. However the interior setting leaves a lot to be desired. The open plan ~esque white concrete would be cool, if they had funky art works or something to complement it, but the boring and out of place generic cloud pictures do not work in the space. Awkward uncomfortable bench seats and a huge communal table that dominates the space, making it difficult for the 2 seater tables to navigate past each other. On the bright side, the coffee was actually good. Their house blend was proudly advertised next to the counter and on the well thought out menus. The mini sliders from the fridge that we had were quite nice, but overpriced for the size. Overall, the best cafe option if you're in the area but don't rush out of your way to get there any time soon. 5/10 Xoxo E Big love for this Shortstop Coffee and Donuts have now built themselves up a cult following. Their daily different donuts and simple decor have proven to be a simple formula for success.
On your way to uni to meet friends? Make a short stop to Shortstop and pick up a box of donuts and bribe your way to being everyone's friend. The friendly staff always greet you with a smile and they will happily answer any questions you have on the pronunciation of "cruller" (but seriously, how DO you say it!?). With such a small space the interiors do make an impact. The white wash timber interiors are the standard in any wanna-be funky cafe these days, but the open window to the kitchen (aka. where the magic happens) is what makes a nice difference. On a sunny day, the limited outdoor seating down the small laneway makes you feel like you're in a small exclusive Parisian cafe; but it is oh so Melbournian! Upload your pictures to instagram with #shortstop or @shortstopmelb and they will always give you a friendly like! https://www.short-stop.com.au 10: Its pizza… Who doesn’t love it? Whether it be the fancy overpriced pizza or the delicious soggy base pizza. Where can you go wrong?
